Aquaponics
Aquaponics is an organic sustainable farming method that combines aquaculture (raising fish) with hydroponics (growing plants in water). In this system, fish waste provides organic nutrients for the plants, while the plants help filter and purify the water for the fish. This creates a self-sustaining ecosystem that conserves water, reduces the need for chemical fertilizers, and efficiently produces both fish and crops. Aquaponics is commonly used in urban farming and environmentally conscious agricultural practices.
